Since Tyler and I did not have any engagement or wedding photos done, we thought it was well over due to have professional photos taken. During Chrissy and Todd’s wedding, I befriended the photographer, Steve, who was also an old co-worker of Tyler’s. We got to talking about photos and I asked if he would be able to squeeze Tyler and I in for a session before we left D.C. He concurred and we decided on a date. We wanted pictures done around the monuments in D.C so we first met Steve at the Iwo Jima memorial (a must have photo for all Marines). We had a great time taking pictures in front of all of the important D.C. spots and are so thankful Steve was able to fit us in to his busy schedule (Thanks Steve!). I have decided that I want to have professional photographs taken at every duty station we are at. I have also decided that I am going to make a scrapbook for each duty station as well (separate from the photos). I am so glad we were able to get those pictures taken and am absolutely in love with them!
